The Local Authorities and Police and Crime Panels (Coronavirus) (Flexibility of Local Authority and Police and Crime Panel Meetings) (England and Wales) Regulations 2020 have now come into force.
These regulations now enable the PC to hold remote meetings (including by video and telephone conferencing) until May next year.
There will be a Crime Summit meeting, held online, on Thursday 28th January 2021 at 7.30pm.
The meeting is being hosted by TDC's Audit and Scrutiny Committee. Residents are invited to view the meeting online at: https://tandridge.public-i.tv/core/portal/home
The event will be introduced by TDC's Community Safety Officer who will give an overview on community safety.
Inspector Karen Hughes from Surrey Police will provide an update on policing across the district including the key challenges for the year ahead. David Munro, the Police and Crime Commissioner, will talk about policing across the county.
There is an opportunity for Tandridge residents to hear about community safety work in the area, raise issues affecting them, discuss how these can be solved by working together and ask questions.
Anyone who wishes to ask a question should send it, in advance, to firstname.lastname@example.org
